Jacob Foundation Community of Excellence Program
CLCD Ghana is happy to announce that we’re evaluating the Jacob foundation community of excellence program.
This project’s goal is part of a larger GES and UNICEF effort to support teachers to improve students’ socio-emotional development. To achieve this, we need a thorough understanding of the socio-emotional issues that kindergarten teachers see children struggle with.
The program combines all the domains that children need to function to be good human beings, which includes: Physical growth (can they perform basic physical functions?), Literacy (reading and writing) and numeracy (mathematical thinking), Social-emotional (can relate well with others and manage their feelings well), Learning (able to follow instructions, learn how to do things correctly, can be independent).
